Q:"If there is no God, then what (outside of time and space) caused the universe?". we're still researching on that and will decide on observable, scientific research. we don't claim to KNOW. what evidence have you got for a literal god? what evidence do you have for the bible being the word of that literal god? why do you pick&choose from the bible and not adhere to everything? what makes you think your god exists but thor or zeus doesn't? do you accept earth is older than a few thousand years?

Science has it’s limits, and it’s limits are outlined in the definition of science, which is:

the systematic knowledge of the physical or material world gained through observation and experimentation

In order for science to make a statement about anything, the thing must be observable and experimental. Being that the creation of the universe only happened once, it’s not observable. Already, we can’t create a solid theory as to how the universe was created. The creation of the universe is also not experimental. We cannot create a universe. Now, we’ve violated another defining point of science. Since the creation of the universe is not observable and we can’t re-create it (experiment), how can we grab scientific evidence as to how the universe was created? Scientists have hypothesized how this phenomenon happened based on what we can observe and deductive reasoning, but they cannot tell us how the universe was created by science.

Evidence? Like scientific? Well, there’s the Eucharist, which is literally God. The transubstantiation occurs on a metaphysical level, but yeah. Other than that, God isn’t physical, nor material. God exists outside of time and space and therefore isn’t observable or experimental and therefore cannot be addressed by science. However, science isn’t the only form of reasoning. There’s also inductive and deductive reason to prove things. I entertain this answer for the proof of God.

We don’t pick and choose. I’ve answered this question way too many times to re-write the answer to this.

About Thor and Zeus…Answered in the link. Oh, and Thor exists. I saw him fight on TV once. He was in New York actually, fighting with this guy who was hyper-exposed to gamma radiation, a multi-billionaire philanthropist with an awesome suit, an experimental soldier who was exploited, an awesome archer, and Scarlett Johansson.
