Q:Well Justin you're wrong: churches nor religious institutions wouldn't have to provide contraception coverage in health insurance. Only religious-affiliated institutions: like St. Mary's hospital would have to choose health plans that covered contraception. Please be educated on the things you dismiss.
You’re right. The Churches and such won’t have to provide what violates the morals and conscience of those who follow, but religious affiliated are mandated to violate their own morals and conscience. Being affiliated with the Catholic Church, St. Mary’s Hospital, St. Jude’s Hospital, Catholic Charities, and countless Catholic Universities are mandated to provide what is immoral and a clear violation of the affiliated religion. The affiliated institutions have a mission to adhere to the teachings and values of the religious institution they are affiliated with. To mandate these institutions to violate their own values, morals, and conscience is a violation of the freedom of religion. It also allows the government to decide what is a religious institution and what is a religious-affiliated institution.
